Encrypted Web is an extension that enforces HTTPS connections to domains that are known to support it but do not redirect to the secure versions of their websites by default. Encrypted Web is based on HTTPS Everywhere and its source code is maintained here.

If you have been using HTTPS Everywhere, please uninstall it to prevent conflicts. In addition, preferences set for HTTPS Everywhere will not be used by Encrypted Web, so you must set your preferences manually for this extension.
