About this add-on

Ambassador is a fork of the ChatZilla IRC client built upon the Unified XUL Platform. It features a simple, straighforward interface with a number of options for customization and extensibility. The add-on version is compatible with Pale Moon, Basilisk, and Interlink. It is also available as a stand-alone package that can be installed and run independently of a browser on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Ambassador includes most of the features found in ChatZilla, along with some unique features of its own:

  • IRCv3 support
  • Password management
  • A window for viewing secure connection details
  • An editor for the built-in networks list
  • CTCP request notifications
  • Several new commands
  • Emoji support
  • Removed CEIP (Telemetry)
