This is an authorized fork of the original Firefox extension by James Cook. It allows you to select any text on a webpage and pass it as input to another site. For example, highlight an address and search for it on Google Maps, or look up the meaning of a word on a dictionary site.
Multiple sites can be added and you can select which one to query from the rightclick menu after selecting text. By default, it comes with Google Maps and a dictionary search, you can add your own.
