ηMatrix

About this add-on

For advanced users only.

ηMatrix is a fork of the μMatrix browser extension.
Unlike μMatrix, ηMatrix is targeted at UXP applications (and, more generally, at applications using XUL.)
However, please note that development is focused mostly on the Pale Moon web browser.

After installation, ηMatrix will break the majority of the websites you visit.
To "unbreak" a site, you need to operate on the per-site popup matrix that ηMatrix makes available from its toolbar button. You just need to click on each cell to enable (green) or disable (red) a particular feature.

For example, disabling images from the example.org domain, will make so that any request for images to that domain will be blocked (and, thus, no images from example.org will be shown.)

It's possible to operate on every request from a domain by clicking on the domain name. Similarily, it's possible to operate on a single type of request for every domain by clicking on the type name.

After enabling or disabling an entry, the web page must be reloaded for the changes to take effect.

If you need to perform something advanced, the extension's dashboard, which can be opened either by clicking the black bar with the name in the popup or from the options page in the addons manager, contains useful links. Please check them out.
