1 Key Web Search

About this add-on

This is a tiny search key extension. It allows you to associate keyboard keys with search engines and access
them by just typing one key and the search term. If text is highlighted on the page, the search term
will automatically be entered.

This version is not fully supported, but you can figure it out from the home page which is the Firefox version.
The main difference is that each browser has its own way of setting search "keywords".
Assigning a key for a search engine in Pale Moon (New Moon) or Mypal is done differently.

  • In the adress bar , click the little down arrow in the search bar.
  • Select manage / edit ... and you can set a key for each search page there.

Also, some of the options don't work and the button to open the search options page
doesn't work since these browsers don't have that page. If I get some time I will try to
repair the same tab/ new tab option.
