About this add-on

Web Developer's Toolbox provides a collection of 59 tools to aid website developers and inform the curious.

A wide range of features are included, accessible via a toolbar or a menu, including:

  • Disable Java, Javascript and meta redirects
  • View, add, disable and delete cookies
  • Display, edit and disable style sheets
  • Populate or clear forms, display passwords and disable validation
  • Hide images, display their alt tags, view their paths and sizes
  • Display anchors, div order, ID & class details, links and meta tags
  • Clear the cache and history, display hidden elements, use a magnifying glass
  • Outline blocks, frames, headings and external links
  • Resize the browser and simulate mobile screen sizes
  • Validate CSS, HTML, feeds and accessibility
  • View and edit the HTML or the CSS code

...and many others.

To enable or disable the toolbar, right-click between the icons of any toolbar to display the context menu. You can toggle the toolbar directly from here or, if you select 'Customize', you can drag the Toolbox icon to a toolbar to act as an enable/disable button.
